Gregory's play, Men with Clubs, nominated for Kevin Kline Award
Men with Clubs, a comedy about men being boys on the golf course, was nominated for Outstanding New Play by the 2009 Kevin Kline Awards.
The April 2008 production at HotCity Theatre in St. Louis was the world premiere of Gregory's full-length script, which won HotCity's Greenhouse New Play Festival.
The theatre subsequently flew Gregory to St. Louis for a two-week workshop with a director, dramaturg, and professional actors. The refined piece ran for three weeks and received great reviews.
The Kevin Kline Awards, named after St. Louis's favorite son, recognize excellence in the city's professional theatre community.
